Policy for child arrival and departure from the Boat House

Club General Risk Assesment

All Paddle sports are a strenuous activity using heavy & cumbersome equipment and as such comes with a number of risks to participants & others. We are continuously assessing the risks associated with our activities, both general & specific. Carrying & handling equipment bears most of the risks associated with paddle sports and if due care is not taken, can result in physical injury or unnecessary damage to expensive equipment. Codes of Conduct

At Team Keane we follow the guidance provided by British Rowing & British Canoeing with regard to codes of conduct. All members, coaches & legal guardians are required to conduct themselves at the club in line with these codes. This document can be viewed by clicking on the icon.

The welfare of children is paramount both at Team Keane Watersports School and also within our wider community.

Complaints Policy

At Team Keane we value feedback from our members, staff and the general public, whether it is good or bad, we believe this feedback gives us an opportunity to improve our service, our relationship with our local community and those we operate with and around. If you would like to give us your feedback we would welcome an email from you to admin@teamkeane.com where this will be received & investigated as an informal statement.
If however you wish to make a formal complaint we encourage you to go directly through British Rowing or British Canoeing following their complaints procedure so that your concern can be dealt with in the best & fairest way possible. Links to either of these policies can be viewed below
